“I have to say I was a little skeptical at first placing my Isabella into the Montessori system. I couldn’t see how playing with blocks and water could prepare my daughter for her future years of education. However, what I thought about blocks and water, the Montessori American School was teaching my daughter the fundamentals of consistency and organization that would give her the tools she needed to have a successful academic career. My daughter has begun her 1st grade year at a reputable public school and is already reading at a 3rd grade level and the teachers cannot stop raving about how students that come from the Montessori school are well more advanced in their reading and math skills. It was worth every single penny and there is no question in my mind where I will be sending my 9 month son when he’s old enough as I have told Mrs. Edith to save a spot for him.”

Our children were taught to be independent thinkers and learners.
We attribute our children’s ability to stay focused and current scholastic success, to the Wake Forest Montessori. The staff was loving, nurturing, professional and kind to our children and family. The music and language programs were a favorite part of the school week for our children. We would encourage any family with preschool to Kindergarten aged children to enroll their children at Wake Forest Montessori.

The best gift any parent can give their children is a good foundation for their educational future done within a safe environment. The staff at the Montessori American School are conscientious, skillful and knowledgeable. The children academically grow in an environment that is very nurturing. As parents that are employed full-time, it was very important for us to place our children in a setting that could provide them with a strong academic base, a setting that our children could feel like they belonged, and most importantly, a setting where we knew our children would be safe. Our two older children have all gone to Wake Forest Montessori and we can’t wait for our youngest to turn 18months so he can attend!
