Our teachers provides a link between the child and the prepared environment, introducing the child to each piece of equipment when he or she is ready in a precise, clear and enticing way. The teachers also provide a link between the classroom and the parent, meeting with each child's parents to discuss progress. Most importantly Wake Forest Montessori teachers love and respect each child's total being.

Mrs. Kristen

As a parent herself, Krsiten understands that there is no substitute for a loving classroom enviornment. But with Kristen, expressing her love in the classroom is just one of her many talents. Kristen graduated from UCLA with honors with a BA in Psychology and obatained her Montessori credential shortly thereafter. Kristen fell in love with the Montessori curriculum after seeing the growth that it brought her children. With a teaching stint at the Manhattan Beach Montessori in Los Angeles under her belt, Kristen and her family relocated to Raleigh where she found a great home with the Wake Forest Monetessori.

Ms. Rebecca

Ms. Rebecca might as well be called Mother Nature as she loves to share the in-depth knowledge of biology she gained while earning her Bachelors degree in Biology from Agnes Scott College. She comes highly experienced in the arena of early childhood development having had stints at Children's Hospital Atlanta and child care centers in the same city. Ms. Rebecca is fluent in German and loves facilitating the growth and development of her little friends at the Wake Forest Montessori.
