"An interesting piece of work, freely chosen, which has the virtue of inducing concentration rather than fatigue, adds to the child's energies and mental capacities (leading to) self-mastery."

Question: How are summer programs different than regular Montessori classrooms?:
Answer: Our summer programs are open to the community and are on a rolling enrollment basis. WFM students are given preferential enrollment. While we still offer a Montessori curriculum, an emphasis on outdoor play and cultural exploration are given to our student-friends.
Question: Do you hire new teachers for the summer program?:
Answer: No, while we may hire assistants and bring in sepcial guests our regular school teachers work the summer program.
Question: What are the hours and cost of the summer program?
Answer: Our summer hours are the same as our regular hours, 8:30 – 12:15 daily for our preschool students. We serve a natural/organic snack and request that parents bring sun screen for their children. The cost is $395 per session for enrolled students and $425 per session for summer only students.
